For a project in my online design class, we were assigned to create a "how to" diagram from a set of themes. My terrarium construction was a play on the "how to plant a garden" theme.
The purpose of the project was to create a complex visual showing the detailed workings of something in graphic form over a three-week period.

I wrote the copy for and designed three advertisements that were published in NUVO as part of WFYI's national Chasing the Dream project.
I had to pay attention to sizing and advertising design practices while creating it with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
The purpose of the advertisements was to promote the project's "No Limit" on-air episodes that discussed the issue of poverty in Indianapolis.

As executive editor of The Franklin, Franklin College's student news source, I design the front page of each news magazine issue.
This design is a simple and impactful way to illustrate the issue's lead story about rising sexual assault reports on campus.

For this project in my page design class, we chose an academic article that would portray a certain mood and translated it to a readable booklet.
All of the images came from a mood board we created using various magazine square cut-outs that we scanned onto the computer to use in our compositions to go along with the words.

In my web design course, we designed a mock icon system for the college's website and focused on creating unity between the items in color, line, shape and placement.

As part of Brick Street Boutique's redesign, I created a rack card that is distributed at special events and placed in each customer bag.
The purpose of the card is to promote the boutique brand and connect customers to the website and social media channels.
I also designed a retractable banner and business owner business cards that mirror this design.
